Amber Technologies Kitty DT (formerly Kitty Distempaid) promotes normalization of abnormal digestive tract function to include diarrhea (in some cases bloody diarrhea), vomiting, gas, bloat and more.
Using Amber Technology’s KITTY DT & VIBACTRA PLUS can help your kitten overcome the battle of the dreadful disease Feline Distemper.
Feline distemper (panleukopenia) is a viral DISEASE affecting domestic cats & all other felids (e.g., lions, tigers, & other wild cats), as well as raccoons & minks. The symptoms of Feline distemper & Parvo are similar. Feline Distemper can kill a kitten in 24 to 48 hours. The virus can be transmitted from urine, feces, vomit, and saliva of an infected cat.
Diagnosis is made from clinical signs (listed below) as well as the demonstration of an extremely low white blood cell count. Confirmation of the diagnosis can be made by detection of virus particles in the feces.
Symptoms of Feline distemper
*High fever up to 105
*Loss of appetite
Often times a kitten will lie with its’ head hanging over the water dish. This is normal. The nose of a cat can absorb fluid.
Panleukopenia (Feline Distemper) will enter the marrow of the bones & destroy white blood cells. This leaves the door open for growth of bacteria or viruses. If treated early in the disease the kitten will have a better chance of survival.
Amber Technology’s product KITTY DT was developed to help kittens overcome this deadly disease. Due to the secondary infections that feline distemper can cause, VIBACTRA PLUS (a natural antibiotic with an anti-parasitic) was formulated. It helps suppress viral and bacterial infections while your cat is in this susceptible state. Vitamin C is useful and recommended by Veterinarians to be given with treatment. While the kitten is in the feverish state give 100 milligrams per hour (for an adult cat give 250 milligrams of Vitamin C per hour). The Vitamin C will help to build the immune system.
Once the fever is down and the kitten is no longer vomiting you can start feeding solid food. Raw beef liver for 2-3 days is good for the kitten and acts like a tonic. Avoid letting your cat catching a chill for several days afterwards and continue with the KITTY DT 4 times a day, VIBACTRA PLUS twice a day & vitamin C twice a day for one week to prevent a relapse.
Kitty DT can also help
Immunity enhancement (especially good for kittens who are weaning from their mother). In this situation you can give KITTY DT once a day.
*Stop vomiting and diarrhea caused by environment changes.
*Stop vomiting and diarrhea caused by changes in diet.
*Ease travel discomfort.
KITTY DT can be given as a preventative if your cat has been exposed. Give the KITTY DT 4 times a day and VIBACTRA PLUS twice a day for 5 days.
For Maintenance or immunity enhancement after initial course of KITTY DT and VIBACTRA PLUS, a reduced dose of 1 to 2 times per day may be used for prolonged periods (for up to one year or more in some cases—please confirm with your Veterinarian).

2 lbs. 2 drops 2/3 tsp

4-10 lbs 5 drops 2 tsp
11-20 lbs. 10 drops 1 Tbs
21 and up 15 drops 2 Tbs
Note: There are approximately 30 drops in a dropper full of solution.
Suggested use for Feline Distemper: Mix with Pedialyte. Give every 15 min. for the first hour. Then every hour after until the cat is eating on its own. Once the cat is eating and has kept food down for 6 hours, give 4 times a day for 2 days to prevent a relapse.
If your kitten continues to worsen it may be possible the virus has reached the large intestine or has become dehydrated. If this is the case you can perform some enemas (until the kitten shows some kind of improvement, perhaps lifting its head or waging its tail). Be sure to grease the tip, keep the back straight and do not insert the tip to far. Put Kitty DT and Pedialyte (same amount as you would by mouth) into the syringe and insert SLOWLY. Hold the buttocks together for two minutes then release. Do this once every one to two hours until you see improvement.
Warning: Keep out of reach of children. Do not give to animal if pregnant, pancreas or liver disease is present.
We recommend using Kitty DT with Amber Technology’s herbal antibiotic Vibactra Plus or an antibiotic from your local Veterinarian.
